Kate is Client Director at KBPR, and is responsible for client strategy, planning and new business development. Kate has 20 years’ experience in PR and marketing within the financial sector, specialising in pensions, investments and employee benefits. She established KBPR in 2009 to represent organisations who want to work in partnership to challenge the status quo; doing things differently to innovate, educate and push the conversations and boundaries of the industry.
Working across all clients, who represent the full spectrum of services across the industry and everything from new brands to high-profile firms and individuals, Kate lends her expertise and experience to provide strategic and tactical advice across all aspects of PR and communications. Kate is one of the most respected and sought-after advisers in the industry and her connections with clients, peers and the media speak for themselves. Kate herself was listed in Brummel’s “Ones to watch” and is regularly invited to judge the industry’s largest awards.
When she’s not immersed in the world of pensions and PR, Kate can usually be found making the most of Ireland’s beaches, mountains and outdoor life, often accompanied by her husband, dog or horse in no particular order. A keen believer in staying active, she enjoys walking, running and strength training in a determined effort to age as gracefully as possible, despite a long-standing and entirely unhelpful sweet tooth. Much of the rest of her time is spent acting as chauffeur, PA and general logistics manager for her daughters – a role that appears to have no retirement date.
