PTL, the leading independent trustee and governance services provider, today announced the appointment of Anne Sander as the most recent new hire to its growing Client Director team.
Richard Butcher, Managing Director of PTL, commented: “Anne is an excellent addition to our team, and we’re thrilled to welcome her onboard. We always look for talented, well-rounded professionals who can make a genuine difference to our clients in meeting the challenges facing them and their schemes. Anne’s achievements are varied and impressive; she brings extensive technical skills and a real breadth of experience as a consultant, risk manager, and trustee, gained over 30 years in the industry. We’ve added seven new client directors to the team in the last 18 months and I think that says a lot about the demand for, and quality of, the PTL team.”
Anne Sander, Client Director, commented: “I am passionate about ensuring pension fund members get the benefits to which they are entitled, and so a move into professional trusteeship made perfect sense. PTL is an acknowledged leader in this area and their commitment to good governance, innovation, and client service is well known. I am excited to be joining the team and look forward to making an immediate impact.”
Anne joins PTL from Aviva Investors, where she was Senior Internal Audit Manager and Interim Head of Internal Audit. Her role involved overseeing the risk management controls across all asset classes in the UK, USA, and Europe. She currently serves as the Chair of the Audit, Operations and Governance Committee for the Aviva Staff Pension Scheme, a £17 billion hybrid DB and DC scheme.
Anne previously worked with three of the major actuarial consulting firms providing actuarial and investment advice across both defined benefit and defined contribution schemes.
