[UK – 1 December 2025] – ZEDRA, award-winning provider of pension and incentive services, today announced that Matt Race-Pridding has become Head of Trust Essentials for the business.
Trust Essentials* is ZEDRA’s flagship professional sole corporate trustee (PCST) proposition, designed specifically for small and legacy defined benefit (DB) pension schemes. It delivers all the key benefits of a professional sole corporate trustee at a more competitive cost.
Building on his existing role as Client Director, Matt will lead the continued growth and development of Trust Essentials, making trustee expertise more accessible to those schemes under unique pressures that often lack the resources or in-house experience to manage increasing regulatory and operational complexity.
Matt Race-Pridding commented: “Many businesses find that managing a legacy defined benefit scheme involves unique challenges, often requiring a disproportionate amount of time and resource. We work to establish a partnership with the sponsoring company and work together towards suitable strategic objectives and an agreed journey plan.
“We know that for many employers, finding people with the right skills, time and confidence to act as trustees has become increasingly difficult, especially while trying to deliver value, control costs and ensure robust governance. Smaller schemes deserve the same quality of resource and expertise as their larger counterparts so we’ve a solution that makes independent trusteeship accessible, affordable and effective though economies of scale – meaning all schemes can benefit from clearer governance, faster decisions and reduced management time. It’s proven to be an extremely popular service so I’m really looking forward to working with the team to further enhance what we offer and growing the portfolio even further.”
Kim Nash, Managing Director of ZEDRA, added: “Since joining us in 2015, Matt has been an invaluable part of our team. His promotion to Client Director earlier this year reflected his outstanding leadership and expertise and, as Head of Trust Essentials, he will continue to drive our commitment to supporting pension schemes of all sizes with effective, proportionate governance solutions.”
