Join us in going over everything that has happened in the last quarter.
A note from Kate...
In April, KBPR celebrated its 13th birthday. I’m not sure what I really imagined when I started KBPR… the start of all great business plans! In fact, even ‘starting’ KBPR is somewhat misleading. I began as a freelance consultant, just wanting to do things a bit differently - work hard, make a difference. To all intents and purposes that hasn’t changed in the slightest and it’s how we operate as a team to this day.
If someone could have told me what the 13 years would look like in advance I might have run for the hills. Nothing can quite prepare you for the challenges of running a business, and a family, and chuck in a global pandemic. I’ve been very fortunate to work with great great people – both clients and staff - and as we enter our 14th year I’m nothing but grateful. The world has shifted in more ways than one – our word cloud below shows just how diverse our industry has become. These are just a handful of the things our clients have been talking about this quarter.
For Q2 we are so looking forward to getting out and about again - doors are opening and we plan to be walking through them so do look out for us at conferences, awards, and events and say hello.
What's been going on?
We showed our support for International Women's Day - a movement to not just celebrate and support all women across the world, but to raise awareness of the gender inequalities that still exist in society. #BreakTheBias
Member Events
We were delighted to help MNOPF organise their annual virtual members forum again. The forums give members the opportunity to hear the latest news from the MNOPF and to meet representatives from the Fund to discuss pension matters more generally.
If you are a pensions scheme who needs help with member events then get in touch!
Award Submissions
Q1 is always busy with working on client award submissions and boy were we hard at work this year. It was amazing to see how many awards clients were entering and being shortlisted for.
