What a year it has been for KBPR! Four new staff hires, welcoming new clients, winning our fifth PIPA award and last but not least, turning 10

A massive thank you to all our clients and journalists. It has been a pleasure working with you this year and we look forward to more of the same in 2020. In the meantime, wishing you all a wonderful Christmas with your families and loved ones

PENSIONS AND LIFETIME SAVINGS ASSOCIATION
ANNUAL CONFERENCE
From running an early morning 5km to dancing the night away Cuban style and catching up with contacts old and new, it is safe to say the PLSA in Manchester was a great few days. What was clear from the conference was that whilst as an industry we have made great strides, there is still so much more to be done. The energy in the room was one of positive change and we look forward in particular to seeing how the PLSA Retirement Living Standards and the much anticipated Pensions Dashboard come to fruition next year
INDUSTRY AWARDS

Throughout the year, we have been fortunate to attend many of our industry awards, in many capacities. Kate was honoured to have judged the UK Professional Pensions, Women in Pensions Awards in July and in November we made our first trip to European Pension’s Irish Pensions Awards where Kate presented the Communication and Emerging Markets Manager of the Year awards

A great night, great location and exceptional company

CONFERENCES AND SEMINARS

Like awards, we attend many conferences and seminars throughout the year. Attending Employee Benefits Live as we did again this year is really important for us and our clients as much of our work is now in the Employee Benefits, HR and FD space, covering areas like financial wellness and well-being and benefits in the workplace

We are very happy to have welcomed two new clients on board this year, K3 Advisory and RisCura

Adam Davis, Managing Director at K3 Advisory said:

“Appointing an agency with specific expertise in bringing new clients to market was vital to us. KBPR’s impressive industry and press connections made them the obvious choice. After only a short time we are very impressed with the results, with lots of interest across both the press and industry, and indeed with new opportunities.”

TEAM RESTRUCUTRE

This year, KBPR have welcomed on board a new Managing Director Andrew Pearson, PR Account Manager Alex Tuck and two Junior Account Executives,
Henrietta Richardson and Emma Nagy

Joining Kate, Alexia, Joanne and Heather, the team are excited for the future as we enter into the next chapter of KBPR’s evolution

Kate and Andrew love running (don’t we all know it) so we decided to put their efforts to a good cause and raise some money at the same time by undertaking a Christmas Charity 5km run. So far we have raised £850 for the Single Homeless Project but watch this space for the final figureRunning on a cold December afternoon is not everyone’s cup of tea, so a big shout out to Jon Stapleton and Chris Eyett who donned their Christmas gear and ran alongside the team

MNOPF TRUSTEE EVENTAlexia and Henrietta ventured over to Poole last month to manage the latest Trustee Event which was a great success. KBPR managed the whole process from start to finish, including selecting the venue, organising catering, liaising directly with members and running the day itself. Most importantly it was great to see members enjoying themselves

“Having already used KBPR for a major bi-annual event in our calendar, we didn’t hesitate in signing them up to arrange the next.
Professional and efficient from start to finish, they necessitated a smooth and hassle-free event, with much praise for the venue and organisation from the attendees.”
