Cartwright, the pension specialist for defined benefit and hybrid schemes, today announced the addition of two new highly experienced administration Project Specialists to the business, Jeremy Lowe and Peter Prest.

Julie Yates, Director of Administration at Cartwright, said: “The administration market is experiencing exponential growth across the board, but increasingly in specialist project work being driven by scheme trustees. That is everything from GMP equalization to data cleansing due to the rise in schemes finding themselves in a good funding position to de-risk post LDI crisis. At Cartwright we have always resourced ahead of demand, and we will continue to invest in quality recruitment to add value to our team and grow in line with expected increased demand. We don’t believe in swimming upstream, but rather being a step ahead and our specialist project team is just a small part of that. Both Jeremy and Peter bring a wealth of knowledge and experience that will lend itself well to our team and goals.”

Jeremy Lowe, Project Specialist, at Cartwright said: “Cartwright’s independence means they aren’t constrained in their approach, so they are able to deliver a highly tailored service to clients. This level of adaptability is vital when working to meet the unique requirements and expectations schemes now have – particularly when it comes to specialist projects. As high volume, off the shelf, approaches become the norm in the industry, those offering customised services provide the level of detail schemes require. I’m really looking forward to working with the team and clients to deliver innovative efficient solutions to meet their needs.”

Peter Prest, Project Specialist, at Cartwright added: “Cartwright is well known in the market for quality service and client commitment. Their continuous investment in the caliber of their team, and being so well resourced, allows everyone to give their maximum output in their skillset without feeling the strain of being stretched to their limits, ensuring clients get the best possible service. It’s an exciting time to be working in administration and it will be refreshing to work with an organisation that has the ability and resource to do things differently.”

Jeremy is a highly skilled pensions professional with over 25 years’ experience, including five years as an Operations Technical Manager at Fidelity. He has particular technical expertise in GMP, DB and DC benefits and the interpretation of pensions legislation. He joined from WTW where he was Administration Manager and worked within the Pensions Data Solutions team. Prior to this he spent 15 years at Buck.

Peter joins from Barnett Waddingham where he was Senior Administrator specialising in projects. He has also held positions at both Mercer and Capita and is currently studying for a MSc in Data Science and Financial Technology with Goldsmith University, London as well as studying for an Advanced Diploma in Retirement Provision (PMI).
