PTL, the leading independent trustee and governance services provider, today announced its first dividend payment of £75,000 to the PTL Foundation, a registered charity, which will be sharing the money between several worthwhile charities working with the poor and the vulnerable in the UK, and one project in Sudan.
Richard Butcher, MD of PTL, explained: “Following our MBO in 2017, one of our key objectives was to use our new independence as a chance to give something back. We are a company with a strong sense of purpose to, amongst other things, deliver on our obligations to the wider world.
“Whilst the sums may seem pretty modest every penny counts and we are really proud to be able to support a bunch of really good causes with the output of the hard work of the whole PTL team. With another profitable year behind us – with 16% revenue growth – we’re looking forward to being able to pay the Foundation another dividend in the very near future for them to distribute as they see fit.”
The PTL Foundation, which was registered in December 2020, owns shares in PTL’s holding company, which were gifted to it at the time of the MBO.
