Trafalgar House, a specialist third-party pensions administrator, today announced the appointment of Ben Leonard as Non-Executive Director for the Trafalgar House Pensions Administration Board. Ben took up the position on 1 June 2024.
Soren Fogtdal, Chairperson at Trafalgar House Pensions Administration; said: “Pensions administration is, finally one might say, coming into its own and getting the attention it rightly deserves and badly needs. Triggered by large projects such as GMP equalisation, dashboard preparation and the huge surge in the risk transaction space, having good admin has never been more important. At Trafalgar House we have long since championed the importance of administration on the trustee agenda. We have worked hard, and we have excelled. We have ambitious objectives for growth and innovation, as well as our ongoing commitment to drive up industry standards.
“Our team is the heart of our business and having the right people at all levels is critical to success. Ben has a diverse background and a proven track record of leadership – implementing practical solutions to drive growth and engagement. He will add to our strong talent pool and help us to set and deliver, and hold us accountable to, a robust and deliverable strategy focussed on the needs of our business, our team, our clients and, most importantly, the members.”
Ben Leonard added: “Trafalgar House is a multi-award winning market leader with a big reputation and the commitment to drive up industry admin standards. I am looking forward to adding my experience to the mix, in particular looking at how technology, data and agile delivery can help to accelerate the pensions administration landscape to deliver more for members. Our mission of providing a service that has our clients and members at its core, delivered by great people using the best technology meant this was an opportunity I had to pursue and I can’t wait to get going.“
Ben is the CEO and Founder of Life Moments Ltd, a fintech which supports financial firms to deliver modern digital experiences which enhance customer outcomes. He has spent over 25 years in financial services first as a banker and then as a fintech founder selling into banks, pension firms and insurers. His combined knowledge of the industry, technology landscape and role of data in financial services makes him an ideal addition to the Trafalgar House board.
