Prosecco & Pensions!

My first couple of weeks in the KBPR office are complete and I have thoroughly enjoyed it so far. The welcome glass of my favourite…prosecco also went down well. What a friendly, welcoming team; let’s start this journey!

My name is Alexia and I am the new Marketing Account Executive on the KBPR team. I come from a marketing, PR and events background and have a Business and Marketing degree. When I landed my first job three years ago it was in PR working with brands such as BBC Good Food, Radio Times, You & Your Wedding and Cbeebies. Subsequent marketing and events positions saw me working on shows such as Grand Designs and The Ideal Home Show.

Moving to the financial sector has been a big change, but one I am really enjoying. The team have provided me with a great intro to the big wide world of pensions, along with many hours spent with my friend Google. I am also due to go on the PMI introduction to pensions course in the next couple of weeks with my colleague Sophie and I can’t wait to get stuck in!

KBPR has some big plans on the marketing side this year and I am very excited to be taking the lead on that and look forward to sharing more information in the coming weeks and months.

Talking about the future, I am currently inundated with wedding plans as I recently ‘said yes’. My weekends usually consist of trips to suppliers, reading wedding magazines and dreaming of the big day. With an estimated list of around 280 guests, it is safe to say that the team were shocked at what kind of wedding I’m actually planning. Although, this is where my inner event planning side comes in handy!
