Cartwright Pension Trusts, the pension specialist for defined benefit and hybrid schemes, has strengthened its Strategic Delivery Team with the appointment of Andrew Hunter as Project Management Specialist, as demand for specialist project support across the UK pensions market continues to grow.
In his role Andrew will work closely with teams across the business, as well as trustees, advisers and providers, to support the effective delivery of pension projects and strategic initiatives.
Julie Yates, Director of Administration at Cartwright Pension Trusts, said: “We’re seeing pension schemes progress an increasingly broad range of complex projects, from de-risking transactions to wider strategic initiatives. At the same time, trustees and their advisers are facing growing demands on their time and resources, increasing the need for experienced project management support.
“As such, we’re continuing to invest in our Strategic Delivery Team to make sure we have the capacity to support clients through these projects. Andrew brings significant experience of complex pension projects and Buy-In and Buy-Out transactions, as well as strong project management skills, and his appointment further strengthens the support we can provide to clients as their needs evolve.”
Andrew Hunter, Project Management Specialist at Cartwright Pension Trusts, said: “Cartwright has built a strong reputation for providing specialist, independent advice and support to pension schemes of all sizes, with a clear focus on delivering practical outcomes for clients. Its approach combines deep pensions expertise with a strong understanding of the challenges trustees face as they navigate complex projects and change.
“The continued development of the business demonstrates a clear ambition to meet the changing needs of pension schemes, underpinned by a long-term strategic vision for the firm. I’m looking forward to contributing to that growth and supporting clients across the UK.”
Andrew joins Cartwright with 14 years’ experience within the UK pensions industry, including five years specialising in Buy-In and Buy-Out transactions. Throughout his career, he has gained extensive experience delivering complex projects, developing strong stakeholder relationships and supporting clients through significant pension-related change.
